Please find below details of the steps we are taking to keep you safe as you come back to dine with us.

COVID-19 - Health and Safety policy

We look forward to welcoming our valued guests back to the restaurant and would like to reassure you of all the steps we have taken. We have gone above and beyond our usual strict hygiene, health and safety measures

  • From the 14th August, following government guidelines we will no longer play music within the restaurant, this is to aid a quieter environment so no guest needs to speak loudly or shout! [We look forward to the time we can play music again!]

  • We are asking guests to keep their outer coats with them, as our current coat cupboard is too small to enable us to keep them separate from other guests.

  • We have a hand sanitising station at the restaurant entrance and in the lower dining room for our guests to use on arrival and between trips to the washrooms

  • Our menus and napkins are single use, our wine list will be smaller then before to enable us to laminate and properly sanitise after each use

  • Our tables are left vacant so they can be set with exactly what the guests need

  • We have reviewed our service procedures to ensure we maintain our normal high levels of service, yet visit tables less often.

  • Our front of house team will be in masks or visors.

  • Full and thorough hygiene training of all employees

  • Our bathrooms have increased cleaning and sanitising between uses

  • Customers will be encouraged to use contactless payments where possible

  • We are observing physical distance to 1 metre where possible and using personal protection equipment where it is not

  • The restaurant layout has been adapted to ensure physical distancing throughout

  • The restaurant is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised throughout the evening and deep cleaned at the end of each day

  • Full deep clean and sanitisation of our restaurant has taken place throughout

  • Routine employee hand washing and sanitisation carried out every 30 minutes

  • A full covid risk assessment has been carried out, including health checks for our staff. A temperature check is made every morning on a staff members arrival.
